Through hands-on learning your child will connect to the land and their food in a way they may otherwise never get the privilege to experience.
Our schedule includes, but is not limited to.....
-Moving baby chicks out to pasture
-Picking, washing & packaging eggs (registration includes a dozen eggs to take home to enjoy)
-Setting up new fence for pigs and then moving them to fresh grass
-Scratching pig ears and catching chickens
-Feeding pigs, chickens, & cows
-Moving an entire herd of cows
-Soil scavenger hunt - whoever finds the most earthworms wins! We'll learn what it takes to be good stewards of our land and embrace all mother nature has to offer.
-Exploring our raw milk production system
-Making homemade butter
-Learning all about bees and why they're so important for food production
